HASTINGS TRAINING NOTES
(PKESS ASSOCIATION- TELEGBAM.. HASTINGS, April 21. It was a splendid morning, yet very littlo galloping took place. Sea Eagle, Glissade, Doiando, and San Pluie were restricted to steady exercise. Berengaria finished a length, behind Kopu at the end of once round. Longboat did a good couple of rounds at three-quarter pace. Maku and Polyanthus went two rounds at half pace, both pulling very hard. Amato finished six furlonga six lengths ahead of Artie. Separator and Merriwing jumped off together at tho holf-milo post, and reached the winning post together. Seraphic bad slightly the better of Amaru over three fur'ongs. Flower and Entente finished half a mile abreast. Andrew Mack alone covered seven furlongs. Maori Jlingond Bridge wero restricted to slow work. Forest alone, galloped * mile and a quarter. Donzef. with a. light-weight up, galloped takingly over three-quarters of a mile. Meremere galloped a good four furlongs. Waikehua, for hoif a mile, was too fast for Kaupare. Niwaru and Roselethe ran a very fast five furlongs. Oastleside and King's Lynn finished together at the end of half a mile. California, accompanied, by Harekoa, went oncii round. Memo Lawn was seen to advantage over aix flight* of huTdles. Bullworth and Kiatere did half-pace-work.
