ST. PETER'S, AKAROA.
The annual oarish meeting of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Akaroa, was held on Tuesday evening, there being a 1-irge attendance. The election ot oarers resulted as follows: —V icar s warden, Mr T. E. Taylor; people »-warden, Mr G. W. Thomas; vestry. Dr. Mcßeddie, Messrs A. A. Westenra. E. tL Wethev, G. O. T. Armstrong, C. W • Leete.'H. Mottram, \\ ■ v*- • ««',**"•"-«- James Wright, L. Mcintosh, and 0. T. Mulcock. The Rev. A. H. Julius, on behalf of the choir, presented Mrs Riches -with a hymn-book, on her retirement from the choir after fifteen years' service, while Mr C. W . Lcete, as parish warden, presented Mrs Riches vit'i -a gold bracelet, in recognition ot her work in connection with the church.
