NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' UNION.
The statutory meeting of the Geraldine branch of the Xew Zealand Farmers' Union was held on Wednesday. Mr Robt. Skinner presided over a fair rttendance. The secretary read the balance-she.t for four months ending Maich 31st last, showing receipts from 5c members' subscriptions amounting to £27 ls, and a credit balance of £26 14s Bd. Assets and liabilities showed a credit balance of £30 5s Bd. A vote of thanks was passed to the hon. secretary, Mr M. Vucetich, who had done excellent work in forming the branch. Mr R. Skinner was re-elected president, and Mr M. Vucetich consented to continue in office as secretary, and was appointed delegate to the South Canterbury Executive: auditor, Mr G. B. Creemer; general committee, Messrs R. Skinner, M. Vucetich, H. Hill, A. Brown, J. Wharton T. Summer£eld, E. Murphy, R. Taylor, jr.. P. Mulvihill, R. Hammond, A. Metcalf, P. Lewis_ and A. Lysaght.
