LODGE MEETINGS.
Tlie Hope of Christchurch Lodge, No. 8, 1.0. G.T., held it. weekly session on Tuesday, the chair being taken by Bro. Whitcher, C.T. One candidate- was initiated. Greetings were received from the Southern Light and Southern Cross Lodges (Invercargill), and from the Annat Lodsre.
The Mariner's Pride Lodge, 1.0.G.T.. Lyttelton, held a successful "at home* on Wednesday night. Mr G. Laurenson, M.P., presided, and there were nearly 200 present. A varied programme was supplied by Misses Norton (2). Wiltshire, Cornish, West, and Cocker; Mesdamee Thompson and Gibson; Messrs Buckett, Hayden, and Turner. Two pleasing items were tho dumb-bell drill and scarf-drill by Miss Wallace's class. The Rev. A. Peters and the chairman gave short addresses. Misses Norton, Cocker, and Wallace played tho accompaniments.
