THURSDAY CRICKET ASSOCIATION. I The Senior tie between Sydenham and Australians. was concluded at Sunnyside yesterday, the Australians winning by 9 wickets. Sydenham carried their total to 148, leaving the Australians 57 to win, which they made for the loss of one wicket. Tho Australians thus won the Mitchell Shield. Scores:—Sydenham, 89 and 148; Australians, 181 and 61 for one wicket (Uartlett 37 not out, and Thomas 21). Bright and Mahar bowled well for the winners, the former taking four wickets for 51 runs, and the latter three for 44. The Australians also win the j Junior Competition. j
