BURGLARY IN WELLINGTON.
(riIESS ASSOCIATION , TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, April 19. Lest night a burglary was effected at Pearce's boot she?, Cuba street, and a quantity of new bcots, valued at £20, stolen. John E. Lindbergs drapery promises were also broken irto, and property stolen. To-day, Detectives Lewis and Rawle arrested a man named Martin Tier, trho is alleged to be concerned in the offence, and it is stated the detectives recovered a large portion of the stolen propc-rty. Tier will be brought before the Magistrate tomorrow, and charged with the crimes of breaking and entering and theft.
