At the monthly meeting of the Spreydon Road Board a letter was received from the Tramway Board in re- . ference to forming and widening South Crescent road. It was resolved that the clerk write the Board to the effect ! that final notices will be issued to pro- ' perty owners on the route to have their fences put back to the boundary for the purpose of putting the formation and widening of the road in hand at once. Tbe clerk was also instructed to inform the Tramway Board of the approximate quantity ot metal which is likely to be put on the roads of the district during the year.
