IRWELL.
The annual meeting of the Irwell Football Club was held on Monday evening, Mr L. B. Coe presiding over a good attendance of members. Ibo annual balance-sheet showed that tne receipts were £12 15s 6d including a balance of £5 S«s brought forward from the previous year. The expenditure was k h Bd, leaving a credit balance of £3 13 5 10d. Six new members were elected. Officers for the emunig year were elected as follow :-Patron Mr W. McMillan: president. Mr t..jt. Coe; vicetfresidente. Messrs \Y. loung, A. Chamberlain, F. Bailey H. Gardiner, F. C. • Murray. R. Heaton R&s, M.P-. T A. Stephens John Hci-lop, C H. Coe, F. Rowell. F Rcwlio. G. E. Rhodes, and J Brooks; secretary ami treasurer, Mr li. 1. McMillan; 'captain. Mr H- Murray; vwcaptain, to be left for the first fifteen to elect on the day of the first match; custodian, Mr R. McMillan; General Committee. Messrs L. B. Coe, tt. Petrie E. Matthews, J. Chamberlain, H. Murray, H. Gardiner, P. Bailey, R. McMillan; Ground Committee, Messrs C Skinner, Chamberlain, and Gardiner: Selection Committee, Messrs H. Altirray. H. Petrie, and E. Matthews; delegate to Ellesmere sub-union, Mr L. B. Coe. Mr H. Gardiner was elected secretary of the j unions.
