SHIPPING NOTES.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Arawa, from London, via way porte, left Wellington at 3 p.m. yesterday, and is due here early this morning. The vessel will complete discharging here, and will load wool, froien meat, etc., for .London. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruahine, which, left Lyttelton on Saturday loaded the following cargo at this port for London:—49s7 bales of wool and •kms, 2 bags wool, 27,851 caroasee of mutton and lamb, 72 casks pelts, 190 casks tallow, 60 casks oleo, 100 boxes kidneys, 19 caees* sundries, 1372 boxes butter and 457 crates cheese. The vessel also loaded at Lyttelton 8251 cratee of cheese salved from the Kaipara at Auckland, which were transhipped from the northern port. The Ruahine, which is now at Timaru, will go to 'Wellington to complete loading and coaling. She will sail from Wellington on the 10th inai. for London, via Monte Video. Rio de Janeiro, Teneriffe, and" Plymouth, and i« due at London on March 25th. After being laid up for a couple of weeks, tho schooner Amelia Sims signed on * fresh •crew yeeterday, and sailed for Puponga, where ehe will load a cargo of coal for Lyttelton. ■ The Kaiapoi Shipping Company s steamer Wootton sailed last night for Kaikoura, where ehe will load aheep for the Waimulcar rin tiver.
