ENGLISH COMMENT.
LONDON, January 29
The "Pall Mall Gazette" says the sentences on the strike leaders in NewSouth Wales are a signal illustration of a strictly Democratic Government rising to a> height of its responsibilities and doing its duty to the community without fear or favour. There is no country where the artisan is more favoured by the law than the Commonwealth, and it is well that leaders in this Labour paradise should be taught country rj must come, before party, and the comfort of the many before the selfish demands of a single class.
