(Before Mr. J. Sinclair, J.P.) On Friday a first offender, charged with being drunk in a public place, picaded guilty, and was discharged. (Before Dr. Barclay, J.P.) On Saturday James Gardiner was charged with breaking three pant* of glass in the window of Mr Barford's phop, Queen stroet. ]t was stated that accused, when reprimanded by Mr Barford for indecent conduct on the preir.ises, became abusive and broke the window. He was fined 10s, and order-β-l to pay the cost of repairing the damage caused to the window.
