CHRISTCHURCH PORTERS' PICNIC.
The Christchurcb porters' annual picnic was held at Punau on January 23rd. The -weather was fine, and a very enjoyablo day was spent. There, were about ISO present. A varied programme of sports -was r\in, and after the sports were over the chairman, in presenting the prizes, thanked all those # preeent for their assistance.
