LETTERS IN BRIEF.
"Constant Traveller" complains that one or two motormen on the doubledecker cars on the Sumner line, during last week, persistently closed the doors, to the croat discomfort of passtngers. Ho also complains that one driver closed the iron gates of both erits in front, making the passengers go in and out at the back end of the car. which might have serious consequences in the event of an accident. "Old Resident" protests against the condemnation of the Opera House, wlieh he considers to be far ahead of many halls in Christchurch.
