OBITUARY.
The funeral of Mrs John Vallance took place at Sefton on Sunday, anil was followed to the cemetery by one of the largest gatherings of mourners ever seen in the district. The deceased had resided in the Sefton district f or over forty years, and ' was highly esteemed by all, and was ever willing to assist anyone in need. Her husband died some seven years ago. She leaves a large family of grown-up sons and daughters. » A well-known resident of Wellington, Mr C. T. Richardson, died at _>is residence. Upland terrace, Kelburne, on Saturday last, after a severe attack of bronchitis, contracted some three months ago. For fifteen years he held the position of managing director of the Wellington Trust and Loan Company.
