LODGE MEETINGS.

The half-yearly meeting of the Loyal Addington Lodge, 1.0.0.F.,M.U., was held on December 20th, Bro. M. T. Wheeler, N.G., presiding. A letter of condolence was sent to Bro. R. Torrance on the death of his brother. The election of officers resulted es follows: —N.G., Bro. C. Bristowe; V.G., Bro. R. G. Brown; E.S., Bro. H. Manliire These officers were installed by Bro. A. L. Gourlay, P.P.G.M., assisted! by Bros. Paterson and Harris, P.G.'s. It w_s decided to present P.C Bro. C. S. Quartermain, the retiring G.M., with a framed' certificate, and that liis name he placed on the ledge's respect board.

The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Rangiora Lodge of Oddfellows was held on Monday evening, when the following officers were elected!: —G.M., R. G. Robertson; N.G., J. A. Mites; V.G., R. J. Thompson; E.S., S. Coates; L.M., D. W. Mehrtens; auditors, T. Hills and R. J. Thompson; auditors for juvenile lodge, J. O. Coates ant. T. Hills. On leaving the G.M. chair, Bro. C. It. Golding was voted a P.G.s certificate, and is to he recommended for the purple degree. The officers were installed hv the G.M. of the New Zealand branch, Bro. J. Marshall, who also oresentet. a framed. P.G.s certificate to Bro. T. Hills.
