EVENING SITTING. After the Telegraph Office closed tho remaining clauses of the Defence Bill passeel through Committee without material amendment IN COMMITTEE. Tho Reformatory Institutions Bill was passed through Committee without amendment. In the Society of Accountants Bill a proposal to extend tlie time for registration was carried. The Magistrate's Court Bill was reported without amendment. RACE MEETINGS BILL. On the third roading of the Race Meetings Bill, Mr MASsEY moved that no club be compelled to lioense bookmakers, but the amendment was ruled out of order as being an amenelment of tho Gaming Act. The PRIME MINISTER said that he would vote against both the totalisator and bookmakers. The Bills taken in Committee wore put through their final stages, and the Houso rose at 4.15 a.m.
