MUNICIPAL SWIMMING BATHS.

TO THK EDITOK OF "THE PRESS." Sir, —It would be interesting to know how much revenue is derived from the Council Swimming Baths during the hours of 2.30 to 4.30 p.m., reserved for ladies and children. To-day, with two other friends, I went to the Baths at 1.15, and was refused admission (certainly very civilly), as the baths were being prepared for the ladies at 2.30 thus giving a clear hour, according to time-table, between the men's and ladies' occupancy. It is hardly needful for one to point out that "during our hot and dusty summer the mid-day dip would be much appreciated by numbers of our male citizens, and no hardship would be caused to our women-folk. I would suggest the Council reserve the baths for the men from 12 noon to 2.15 every day etc., AQUATIC.
