We hare pleasure in reporting that v.c held a most successful sale at our yards on Saturday, probably the largest sale of poultry ever held in the Dominion, comprising 417 lots, and tallied over 3000 heed. The whole lot were disposed of by the Auctioneer, Mr H. M. Bannehr, in the quick time of four hours. The attendance was large, and competition was keen throughout, especially for Turkeys, Ducklings and Geece, one pen of Turkeys realising 33s per pair. The following are the prices obtained: — Roosters according to size and quality to Ts 3d, Hens -to 4s Bd, Ducklings according to quality to 7s cd. Turkeys 335, Pullets to 5a 7d. Docks also sold well.
