COMBINE OF TELEPHONE COMPANIES.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, December 17. Mr Pierpont Morgan and a New York syndicate of telephone companies, owning 3,500,000 instruments, have combined with the American Telephone and Telegraph Company, owning 8,000,000 instruments. Tho combination practically controls the United States telephone system.
