RAKAIA'S R.C. ANNUAL MEETING.

Though rather windy the weather was otherwise fine for the acmual meeting of the Bakaia Racing Club, which was held yesterday. The course was in fair order, and there was a record attendance. Fifteen bookmakers were doing business at a fee of five guineas each. Results: — SOMERTON HANDICAP, of 15 soys; second 2 eovs from staku. Six furlongs. C.
