MANDEVILLE AND RAXGIORA. At the last meeting of the Mandevnlo and Kangiora Uoad "Board there were present —Messrs k\ Horrell (chairman), J. Stalker, J. Stevenson, and C. Leech. "The Commissioner of «Jro\vn Lands notified that there was no intention to hand over the south side of the Ashley riverbed to the Sefton-Ashley Drainage district. Mr M.. Sklaark's tender for I d:>g collars was accepted. It was decided to make an ordor under the Land J Drainage Act, ordering an owner to clear the Taranaki creek through R.S. 11,522 aiid 2912. The month's receipts ■/wore £221 8s 2d; the bank overdratt 1 was £720 9d. and accounts for £200 7s 7d were passed.
