Well misht they feel that the bonds of Empire were closely linked, and that their strength was great, when they saw the daughter countries combining and helpi;i2 to bear the burden of an Empire encircling the globe. Mr McKenna mentioned that as only one of the great efforts at Empire consolidation undertaken by the present Government. It would be a lasting memorial to the. fame of the Liberal Government.
