NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The Oxford A. and P. Associations annual show will be held on April 6th. The. fortnightly meeting of the Lvttelton Hearts of Oak Lodge will be held to-night. The Southbrook Swimming Club's Carnival will be held to-morrow afternoon.
The Pionoer Club's sports will be held at Lancaster Park to-morrow afternoon. The annual meeting of Heathcote ratepayers will be held in the Road Board office at 7.30 p.m. on Monday. A sale of work in aid of the Anglican Deaconess House and the Melancsian Mission will be held in the New Brighton Domain to-morrow.
_. A practical demonstration of the Electrelle piano-player will take place this evening in the Choral Hall at 8.15. Mr W. H. tVheater will be at the Electrelle and Miss "Winnie Nixon and Mr Farqtihar Young will give vocal solos.
...Mr Enos Bacon, the "Yorkshire Nightingale." gave an entertainment at the Colombo street Methodist schoolroom last night. Mr Bacon will give another recital to-morrow night, and on Sunday he will speak and sing at the Durham street Methodist Church.
