A few sales have been effected since prices have gone up, and for prime Velvet and Redchaff the present quotation is 4s 6d f.0.b., Tuscan 4s 4d to 4s sd. Oats are quoted at Is 9d to Is lid, delivered at Timaru. Flour is selling at £10 10s, bran at £2 12s M, and Pollard at £3 10s per ton. The market for old potatoes is now practically dead.
