Sir Joseph Ward has given notice to more: —"That on and after Mon day the House, for the remainder of the session, do sit daily from ten a.m. until rising, for the conduct of 'business; Government business to take precedence." The Leader of the Opposition is likely to oppose such rushing through of business, -while members are utterly tired, as the carrying of this motion ■will involve. LEGISLATIVE COTJITOILLORS. The Hon. R. H. J. Reevee; the Hon. W. C. Smith, and the Hon. G. Jones, whose seven years' term as members of the Legislative Council expires on Monday next, have been reappointed for a further term.
