The Nobel Prizes have been allotted as follow: — Physics: The prize has been divided between Signor Marconi, famous in connection with wireless telegraphy, and Karl Braun, of Strouburg. Chemistry : Wilhelm Ostwald, Leipzig. Medicine: Theodore Kocher, Professor of Surgery at Berne. Literature: Selma Logerlof, the Swedish authoress.
