Tho concert of the Christchurch Orchestral Society will be given at the ilieatre Royal on Wednesday evening The programme of orchestral numberhas been framed by the committee from the requests made by the audience at the last concert given by the ecciety. It is _ particularly attractive one, and comprises several! compositions whioh have become exceedingly Popular, notably the Liszt Rhapsody No. 2, "Loin dv Bal," "Raymond" Overture, and the Intermezzo in "Cavailleria Rusta'cana." Mr Farquhar Young will be the vocaflist on the oocasion.
