i.-'A successful and well-attended concert, in oid of the local library funds, was given in the Waikuku Hall by Miss Lucy Cowan, some of her prize-winning i pupils, and a quartet party. Songs by ! t .V 5 H ' Cockpr and G. Brown, Master •L. Cummins, Mr A. S. Callaway, and |Mr J. McLean; vocal duets by Miss?s , «™*-i and Cocker. Miss Brown and Mr . -McLean, in addition to the quartet, j met with appreciation and re-demands, as did the recitations by Miss Cowan I and Mr Callaway.
