EGG-LAYING COMPETITIONS.

The ducks in the New Zealand Poultry Institute's competition at St. Albans laid 526 eggs during the week ending Friday, December 3rd. The following are the six best returns for the week:—E. H. The official report for the week ending December 2nd of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's fifth egglaying competition at Lincoln College, show that 1129 egge were laid during the week, bringing the total to date <o 34.949.
