THE RETIREMENT OF THE FIRST SEA LORD.
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 2nd, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 2. It is officially announced that Admiral Sir Arthur Wilson has been appointed to succeed Admiral Fisher on the 25th January. Mr Asquith, with King Edward's approval, has requested Admiral Fisher to continue to be a.member of the Committeo of Imperial Defence after vacating the post.
