Bain—Total rainfall, 6.168 in; number of daye on which rain fell. 13; max. rainfall in any twenty-four hours (on the 22nd), 2.725 in. GENERAL WEATHER FORECAST. The following is the Rev. D. C. Batee'e general nummary and forecast: The weather has been generally warm and humid.- It wae g'oomy and wet in the far North on Saturday, but fine in most other parts. Westerly winds increased on Sunday, with rain, especially in the South, where an area of low pressure controlled the weather. The present indications are for rain in all parti of the country, enow on the higher leveln, and colder weather generally; strong eoutherly winds rising in the South, and westerlies, changing to southerly, elsewhere, shortly.
