THE REV. D. DOLAMORE.

During the morning eervke at the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church on Sunday last, the secretary (Mr S. R. Ingold) read the following resolution, whioh wae unanimously passed by the congregation,: — "Tlwvt the church and congregation now meeting for worship in the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church desire to felicitate the Ilev. Decimus Dolamore upon completing the ninetieth year of Wβ age. We thank God for all that Hβ lus enablod our brother to do in ni3 service these many year*, and rejoice that even now, at the age of fourscore and ton years he is still able to meet with us to worship the Lord in His (sanctuary. The fact that he was tie first Baptist minister and the father of our denomination in New Zealand would of itself be sufficient to ensure that Wβ, in common with all of like faith and order throughout the Dominion, should always hold him in the highest esteem. When to this is added the remembrance of his long-continued Christian service, and the many graces of his character, it ie obvious that he occupies a very warm pLace in our affectionate regard. We pray that during tho coming days the brightness of the Divine Presence may more and more illumine Jiis path, and so his feet shall tread the golden stairway that loads up to the Father's House."
