For the week ending October 21st, the number of. eggs laid by the hens entered in the iNew Zealand Utility Poultry GtubV Fifth Egg-Laying Competition at Lincoln College totalled 1359, bringing the total .to date to 27,296. The beet layings for the week were:—-E. Barker's White Leghorns 36, W. A. Nixon's White Leghorns !*B, F. R. Cameron's White Leghorns Ho, Hawke and Shaw's White Leghorns 115, E. Barker's White Leghorns 34, W. A. Nixon'e White Leghorns 84, Mrs J. Mills'e White Leghorns 34, R. Wallis end Sons' White Leghorns 34, W. A. Nixon'a Brown Leghorns 33, -W, A. Nixon'e White Leghorns 33, G. W. Bradley's White Xeghorns 33. Ihe highest totals to date are:—F. E. Cameron's White Leghorns 823, W. Baku's White Leghorns 766, Mrs J. Mills'e Whjte Leghorns 759, Miss E. Heerfield's White Leghorns 740, T, Kennedys Bilrer* Wyandottes 698, Hawke'and Shaw's White Leghorne 689, G. H. Eobinson'e White Leghorns 681. H. Leger's White Leghorna 678.
