GOLD AND SILVER EXPORTS.' (jFBESS ASSOCIATION' TE-EGBAMS.) WELLINGTON. October 2. The export of gold from New Zealand mines for the month ending Thursday last
was 372,3200z, rained at £1,430,653, being a. decrease of _7,923c_, value £63,373, compared with tho figures for the corresponding' period of last year. The silver exported during x be past nine months totalled 1,331,2330z, valued £134,709, which is l__,9lGoz, valuo £8812, mora than tho first three-quarters of !a.*t year. Last month's export of gold was* 50,9220z, valued £162.733, or 12,-oJoz, value £47.256, le?s than in September of last year. Xhe. quantity of silver, exported last month was 22~,55>70z, value- £22,020, being mi .increase of 29,7100z, value £2785, over the figures for Ihe corresponding month of 1903.
