CATHEDRAL CHOIR ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting of the Christchuroh Cathedral Choir Old Members' Association, which was held last night, was attended by a very large number of members. Bishop Julius presided. The annual report stated that the ynemberebip last year was 64, and it was now 71, but there were still a large number of old choir men and boye resident in Christohurch who had not yet joined the association. Regret was expressed at the approaching departure of Mr A. Millar for Wellington. The balance-sheet showed receipte £9 10s, expenditure £7 11s, leaving a credit balance of £1 19s.
The report and balance-sheet were adopted, and the following officers elected:—President, Bishop Julius • vice-presidents, Dean Harper, Rev. p! B. Haggitt, Dr...Bradshaw, and Mr A. Miliar; hon. secretary and treasurer Mr S. W. Jameson; committee, Messrs T. H. Beckett,.B. J. Hobbs, E IHoSot? A. Lilly. G. March, F. F. Tribe and R. T>. Vincent.
Mr A. Malar was appointed an honorary Mc member of the association.
