MEETING OF INDIANS IN LONDON.
THE DEED DENOUNCED. A DRAMATIC INCIDENT. (Received July 6th, 10.40 p.m.) LONDON, July 6. The Agha Khan presided over a distinguished gathering of Indians at th© Caxton Hall. He said they had met to rehabilitate themselves among their fellow-subjects of the Empire in the face of a dastardly act of revolt. Mr Morison, a memher of the Council of India, led forward to, the platform an Indian youth, and explained that the latter was Dhingra's brother. This young man had asked what ho could do to show his repugnance of his brother's act, and he (Mr Morison) had told him it was his duty to come there and show, before his compatriots, that he dissociated himself, and he came. The dramatic suddenness of this incident created a great sensation. The meeting resolved, at 'Mr Bhownagree's instance, to express horror and indignation at the murder. One person in the meeting expressed his disagreement, and his attitude evoked cries of "Eject him!". He struck a neighbour on the head, and was ejected. Another Indian, who was concerned in the Lee-Warner incident, was cheered for declaring that whatever was the cause of the misunderstanding at the bottom of the attack on Sir William Lee-Warner, he (the speaker) was not connected with the anarchical movement. He hated anarchy and violence.
