DICKENS ENTERTAINMENTS.

To-night the first of a series of entertainments which should' orove of considerable interest to all lovers of Charles Dickens will 'be given in the Choral Hall by Mr Charles Davenport. The programme for to-night includes the cream of "Pickwick," introducing all the world-wide-known characters of that work, and "David Copperfield." These afford plenty of scope for one who like Mr Davenport is credited with being a marvellously clever exponent of the works of the great novelist. There will be, also, limelight illustrations of the various subjects touched upon by Mr Davenport during his entertainment. The plan of reserved seats is now open at the Dresden.
