j — : -+-—■ The annual meeting of the above a_I saciation was hfcld on Saturday evening, 26th June, with an attendance .' of about thirty-five. Mr F. Sisson pre- ! sided. The annual report and balancei sheet was read, showing a marked in-f-crease in the membership of the association, the year closing with a total of 69, as against 21 the preceding year. The total income had been £30 Bs, and expenditure £26195-6 d, leaving a credit balance of £3 '8s (3d. In moving the adoption of the report, the chairman suggested that an annual conference of growers should be held to discuss matters of importance to the industry. The report and balance-sheet were adopted, and it was decided to register the society under the Unclassified Societies Act. j The Chairman suggested that an offi- : cial demonstration of fruit spraying should be held in the spring, and that Ministers and members of Parliament should be invited to be present. The meeting approved of the suggestion. I The following officers were elected: — I President, Air F.
