Christchurch and Lyttelton Pirates met at Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon. Tho ground was very wet and slippery, and ' a heavy drizzling rain , made things unpleasant for the spectators. The game ended in a draw, each side scoring three points. For Christchurch Fisher kicked a penalty goal, and for Lyttelton Blnckler scored a try. Mr Hiddlestone was referee.

Old Boys defeated Canterbury College by default.

There was no play in the Albion— Linwood and Merivale —Sydenham games. In the former ea*-e no referee put in an appearance, while in the latter the referee decided that the ground was not in a fit state.
