The following is the market report for the -week: — Wheat. —Owing to the fall in prices on the Ktiglish market, wheat has fallen still further in values .since last report. Many farmers are now more anxious to sell, but millers still refuse to purchase at present prices. Thero have been a few sales made to shippers, but these have been, in most cases, to fill sales made some weeks ago, and no fresh sales for export havo boon reported. Those farmers, still having gram are anxiously waiting the better reports from the English market required to reinstate confidence locally. Quotations are, nominally, Poarl 4s, Tuscan 3s lid. Hunters 3s lOd, en trucks, country stations. Oats. —There is still a fairly good demand for "A" grade Cartons and Duns, evidently . required for filling orders by direct steamers now loading. There is but little enquiry for inferior feed for local use, prices being:—"A" grade Cartons Is od, "B" grade Is 4d, Duns Is 3d. to Is 3}d, Danish is 2jd. Oatsheat" Chaff. —There i.s no alteration in the market. £2 5s is still obtainable for prime quality on trucks, with but llttlo enquiry.
