The collars and shoul-der-straps are adorned with monograms of the letters G.Y. (Girls' Yeomanry) embroidered in silver. An ankle-length skirt of navy e'oth and high military boots are worn. Whito leather elespatch-oarriers. linen haversacks, and greatcoats and other details are also included. Each member provides her own kit. and her own horse. The new troopers receive instruction in first aid nursing, particular attention being given to .how to bandage a wounded soldier, the best way to get him on a horse, and gaMop him away out of the danger zone for medical treatment.
