N.Z. INDUSTRIES WEEK.
The display of locally-manufactured goods was continued yesterday. There arc- now seventy-seven firms in the city exhibiting, and the displays made in St. Albaiis, Sydenham, and outside the City boundaries bring the number up t-i ove-r ono hundred. Some of tho si.ops are using as many -as twenty windows, and otihors come down to two or three. The excitement of the municipal elections having passed, both exhibitors and the public will be able to give more attention to the exhibition. The school children are being actively interested in the display. Groups of t.hem have visited some of the principal establishments, and have viewed processes of manufacture. Tho shopkeepers -are also advertising their displays by sending out small printed slips with parcels to bo delivered, inviting customers to insist upon having goods made in New Zealand.
