Two hundred and fifty reservists afc Adana seized a train ar.d went to Tarsus. There they assisted in destroying the Armenian quarter. Consular advices report that a hundred Protestant missionaries wore burnt in a church in the Adana district. Kasabba has been destroyed. Abdul Hamid's hnrem has been removed. Some of th« wonun w;>ro sent to the Ored seraglio, and others to country nalaces. LONDON. April 2S. Renter reports that to-day "Alk'.!:l Ha mid, accompanied by eight Iml-.es of his harem, was transferred to Salonika. There are great popular rejoicings in Smyrna and Jerusalem. Advices from Vienna state that Abdul H.imid's er.rrespondcjce. disclosing complicity in the revolt and the resistance to the entry of the Salonikans, so angered the army that an overwhelming majority of the officers demanded his abdication. When Abdul was arrested, they found him hidden in his harem. Those arrested include Prince Sabah Fddin, President of the Liberal Union. Ali Kemab, editor of the "Ikdam,' , Marshal Zeke, former Commander cf the Fourth Army Corps at Erzcroum, and Nad'r Agii, Chief Eunuch.
