Sir, —In your issue of last Wednesday it wus stated in your report of the meeting of householders of the East Ohristchurch School District held on Monday night, that the chairman, in reply to a question, why the Phillipstown school was not made into a main school district, said: —" . . . The objection to the change came from the Wαltham and Woolston schools, end the objection was still m.-ide." I have just interviewed tho chairman of the two schools referred to, and they inform mc that tho quwtion has never been discussed by their committee. — Yours, etc., D. LUMBDEN.
