TINWALD YARDS.

There was a large attendance of interested farmers, dealers and others at the ordinary weekly stock sale held at the Tinwald yards yesterday. The yarding of stock was also larger than usual, tho greater part of the entry being made up of the" annual drafts of ewes from back country stations, and dealers' lines. The yarding consisted of 14,500 mixed classes of sheep and 38 cattle. In the fat pens lambs formed the bulk of the yarding, and sold more freely, ewes being bought up by the butchers at prices on a par with late markets. There was no further decrease of prices, as compared with late rates, and if anything; better classes of Bheep sold slightly better. For aged and inferior stock there was poor competition, and the majority of this class of sheep sold at exceedingly low rates.
