MEETING OF CREDITORS.

A meeting of creditors in the estate of Henry Abel Flatman, locksmith, was held at the Official Assignee's Office yesterday. There were unsecured creditors to tho amount of £153 lis 4d, anel book debts (£7) estimated to produce £3 10s, leaving a deficiency of £150 4s 4d. The principal -unsecured creditors were R. B. AVilkens (for whom Mr Hunt appeared), £67 ls 9d, and Wallace and Lourie £38 10s. In his sworn statement bankrupt deposed that he started in business as a locksmith in 1902. but a firo destroyed his stock, and when he renewed it there was a bill of sale over the articles. In 1907 his business was sold up. Under examination by Mr Hunt debtor stated that the house in which he lived belonged to his wife, and ho paid her board. The Assignee was requested to make enquiries as to the whereabouts of a piano, after which the meeting was adjourned sine die.
