(PRES3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) WELLINGTON, March 18. News has boon received in Wellington of the death in .England of Captain J. G. Cameron, of the White Sfar Line. He was formerly commodore of the fleet, and then general superintendent for the company on shore. His widow is third daughter of the late Mr Martin, formerly a wellknown Wellington resident. WANGAXUI. March 18. Dr. Withers, house surgeon of the Wanganui Hospital, succumbed this morning to an attack of typhoid fever, said to have been contracted when treating Maori patients suffering from the same disease. Deceased was twentyfour yeans old. and had only been in charge about two months, having succeeded Dr. Fergus, who resigned. The body Ls to be conveyed to his old home in Sout'libridge, Canterbury. '
