THE NEW BREAD. « A SUBJECT OF INTEREST TO WIVES AND MOTHERS. Wo aro glad to learn that since the appearanco of a recent par in these columns about the above, numerous enquiries havo been received by tho makers regarding it. Nor is this to h-\ wondered, at. The digestive qualities of S-P bread, are very soon apparent to anyone who has tasted it, while one's common sense points to the fact that a creme flour milled by the process which conserves all the nutritive qualities of the wheat germ, must be more healthy than the starchy white flour in common use. It's the flavour wins your favour. The makers of S-P flour have recently had a lonf of S-P bre*td analysed by Mr A. A. Bickerton, Colonial Analyst, who reports that it contained o per cent, less starch and 2 per cent, each more sugar and moisture, thus making it keep better as well as assimilate better than the indigestible white bread. The above facts should bo sufficient to induce our readers to try a sample loaf of the bread which is obtainable at pr<«ent from Mr R. C I'egg. baker, Suffolk street, Linwood, and Mr McBr.itney, Albert street. Linwood. If your grocer docs r.ot vet stock S-P Creme Flour—it's good for scones and pastry—drop a post card to ttio Proprietor?, Box 216, Qbristchurch. 1
