Farmers have completely finished the cutting of their crops in. the Methven and eurrounding dfetricts, while tho Higlibanli, Lauriston a.n<i Lyndhurst farmers have finished stacking. If the. present splendid dry -weather continues for another two weeks the entire cereal , crops of the district will he secure in tho staoks. Even at the present time the farmers' anticipations of a good season nre practically assured. Threshing machines are working very long hours, and' eomo splendid; tallies are reported , .
