LODGE MEETINGS.

The ritiarterly meeting of the Old Oak Lodge, U.A.0.D., No. 16, was hold in the Orange Hall, SouthI'lidgb. on "Wednesday evening, a fair number of members being present. Uro. J. A. Robertson. A.D.. was in the chair. A largo .amount of correspondence was received an<l dealt with, and considerable- discussion t-ook place over tho business paper for the meeting of the District Grand IxxTgo to be held at Lytt-elton on March 4th. Tho representative of the Hro. J. Simpson, was instructed to u<e. his own discretion in all matters brought forward. A visitor from the Star of Tuapeka Lodge, (Bro. I?obertson) jxave a short address as to tlie workinjr of Lotlges in Otago, and <lescribeJ a vLsit he- paid to one of the Druids Lodiies in Adelaide. Tho A.D. gave the vi-itor a he-arty wr-lcome on hthalf of the Ix-dge. Two now m«'ra!ior> were initiated into the iites of Druidrsm. and sick pay for one member « a3 pc.>s«:d.
